On Monday, November 18th, NYU Wagner will partner with 13 other NYU schools to host How To Be a Political Activist. We will be providing an interactive training program addressing how to mobilize voters, how to use social media as an electioneering tool, how to speak across political divides, and how to build coalitions.
Using our power as young people to address the innumerable social issues facing our communities is more important than ever — especially as we prepare for the 2020 election.
The event will feature a panel from the speakers below. Following their presentations there will be a breakout session where NYU students and faculty with advocacy experience discuss methods to get politically involved with small groups of attendees.
