Synopsis: The 2009 murder of Guatemalan lawyer Rodrigo Rosenberg triggered a political crisis that threatened the country’s democracy for months. Before his death, Rosenberg recorded a video predicting that the president would be responsible. The subsequent investigation uncovers a plot involving diplomatic and institutional powers, business interests, intelligence services, paramilitaries with links to the Cold War, and the local oligarchy that controls Guatemala politically and economically.
