WHEN:
Wednesday, April 18, 6:30pm8:00pm

1 Washington Place, 5th Floor Student Lounge
What is “resilience”? How do we see it being used in ecological contexts, community contexts and personal contexts? Is there a way to improve “resilience” as we currently understand it and its uses in these contexts? Join the Student Advisory Board for the Urban Democracy Lab on Wednesday, April 18 from 6:30-8pm in the Gallatin 5th Floor Student Lounge for a teach-in which will explore the different ways the term “resilience” appears in our lives, and whether or not resilience is really the right term after all. Jacob Remes, Jeremy R. Del Rio, and Nega Lakew will join us to discuss the ecological, historical, and artistic perspectives of resiliency. Don’t miss out on your chance to ask the experts questions about urban resilience and discuss what it means to you! Snacks will be provided.
