From our friends at The Futures Initiative:

Join us online or in person for “Teaching as Social Justice” on Thursday, April 14 at 1 p.m.

Part of the University Worth Fighting For series, this discussion will take up critical questions of how teaching address the unequal distribution of resources, wealth, privilege, and opportunity along axes of race, gender, sexual orientation, and ability.  We are thrilled to host special guests including Dr. Ruthie Wilson Gilmore, Dr. Prithi Kanakamedala and Dr. Anne Balsamo.

The very smart Dr. Simone Browne (African and African Diaspora Studies, University of Texas at Austin) will moderate the preceding Twitter chat from 12-1pm EDT. Participate or follow along using the hashtags #teach4justice and #fight4edu!
